Orthodontia
The Orthodontia program has been a major project for the Pueblo
Kiwanis Club for the past 25 years. Children between 6 and 17 are
eligible, with the final selection being based upon the severity of the problem and financial need. Monies
from fund-raising activities and income from the local foundation
generate the financial support for the program. To further help
out with the cost of the program, participating orthodontists charge a reduced rate.
Kiwanis has helped over 250 children, expending more than $200,000 since
the origin of the program.

College Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded annually to local high
school students who will attend a college or university. The students
are required to be members of Key Clubs or are 4H participants and must submit
an application for the scholarship. This has played an important role in
assisting our youth's efforts to reach their educational goals.
